Medical Units North and South comprise of a 40-45 bed acute unit treating cardiac, respiratory, diabetic (link to Diabetes) and general medical patients. (link to Consultant Physicians)
The unit has close links with CCU via the telemetry service and the rehabilitation team based in Elderly Services/HOOPS (Health of Older People Services) link to Elderly Services - HOOPs.
