HWNZ funding application information

Applications for Health workforce funding for Semesters 1 and 2 2018 are now open.

This year we are trialling an online application form which will be hosted on our E-Learning platform – Ko Awatea.
As this is a secure site, an individual username and password will be needed for each nurse to access the application form.
If you have staff who may wish to apply for funding for 2018 your organisation will need to have a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Lakes District Health Board regarding this access.

Please get in touch ASAP if you have not begun this process.

For those who already have their MOU in place and can access Ko Awatea here is a link to the HWNZ funding area.
The area is open now and has a tab called Information and resources. This area holds a template for career planning and university information.
There is also a Q&A forum where nurses can ask questions. These questions will be answered directly in the forum so will eventually build a FAQ area.
The application form tab is where nurses will access the form. This form will open 19th September at 8am.
Applications close on the 19th October 2017 at 23:59.
