Nurse Entry To Practice & Speciality Practice Programmes (NETP/NESP) DHB / Primary & Community Settings

WHY MAKE LAKES DHB YOU PREFERRED CHOICE FOR NETP & NESP:

Lakes DHB has a long history of delivering graduate nurse programmes to newly registered nurses. Graduates are valued in terms of workforce development of nurses wanting to work with our unique population demographics. NETP clinical placement opportunities can be found throughout the provider arm of LDHB – in both generalist and specialist areas. We currently have placements in Emergency Department, Children’s, Medical, Orthopaedic, Surgical and Rehab units in Rotorua hospital as well as placements in Taupo hospital and multiple community placements around the district. The list continues to expand as suitable placements are sourced. On-going reviews of the programme over time ensure we continue to meet both the needs of the new graduate, the developing workforce and the community in which health care is delivered.
