Review of the National Travel Assistance Scheme

The Ministry of Health has started a review of the National Travel Assistance (NTA) Scheme and has posted a survey on the Ministry of Health website seeking input from anyone who has used the NTA scheme, supported a patient, or who works with the scheme.

The Ministry is particularly interested in the views of patients and their support people.

Completing the survey will help improve the NTA scheme by providing the Ministry with a range of views about:
•how people currently experience the NTA
•the needs of people who travel for treatment, and
•what improvements could be made to the Scheme.

We encourage you to not only fill in the survey but also to circulate it amongst your networks, or to people you know who have an important view to contribute.

The survey will close in early 2018.
