Taupō Hospital Kaupapa Māori Services

Support for Māori whānau in Taupō

What is the Taupō Hospital Kaupapa Māori Service?

This is a support service for Māori whānau to help reduce the number of readmissions to hospital.

The service works with whānau and community services and providers to help people stay independent and well in their own homes.

There is a focus on reducing Māori re-admissions and supporting māmā and their pēpi/tamariki to engage with key community support networks.

The service is available at Taupō Hospital, Monday to Friday from 9.30am to 12pm.
