NZNO nurses, healthcare assistants and some midwives plan to strike from 7am to 11pm on Tuesday 2 September and 7am to 11pm on Thursday 4 September. Oncology is the care and treatment of people who have been diagnosed with cancer. Medical oncology involves treatment with medications such as chemotherapy. Radiation oncology treats people using radiotherapy.
The oncology department at Nelson Marlborough accepts referrals through healthcare providers such as GPs, surgeons and physicians.
